My Thoughts

Honor Gillette is spending a normal day at home with her four year old daughter Emily when Emily notices a man laying in their yard. The man turns out to be Lee Coburn who is accused of murdering seven men the previous night. Coburn is desperate and needs a place to hide, he informs Honor that if she does everything he says he wont hurt her and Emily. Honor finds out shortly that Coburn searched her out specifically, Coburn believes that her late husband Eddie left information behind that would help him. Honor's world is turned upside down and she must put all her trust in this man that everyone says is dangerous and a murderer.

This book pulled me in from the beginning. I didn't want to put the book down, I wanted to find out what happened next. It has plenty of twists and I for one could never figure out who done it. The characters were well developed and I found myself pulling for Coburn and Honor.

Overall a story I would read again, although I felt it was cut off very abruptly at the end. It would have been nice to have some kinda epilogue to see where they went from there.
